About Jody & Lori
Jody and Lori met at Victory Worship Center Church, the church Jody’s Dad planted and still Pastors to this day in Sulphur Louisiana. In 1991 they were married and now have three great kids. Garret is their oldest, then Jess and lastly Gracee.
Shortly after they were married they both became full time staff members at VWC. Lori, as Children’s Pastor, developed a very successful and effective ministry that reached hundreds of kids. Jody’s role was Worship Pastor and Associate Pastor.
In 2005 things changed for the LaFleurs. They left their home town and church to attend Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas TX, where Jody attended and graduated from the School of Worship.Having always had a heart for missions, they connected right away with a couple whose dream is to build a children’s ministry and orphanage in Belize. So in 2008 they packed up the family and moved to the town of Punta Gorda, Belize in Central America with Jervis and Melissa Fisher of Laugh Out Loud Ministries, where they spent nearly a year building a children’s home and helping to launch this ministry that is touching the hurting children of Belize.
Although their resumes include many different job titles and descriptions, Jody and Lori have known for years that their calling from God was to pastor a church. So in January of 2009 they moved to Austin to plant 365 Church. The idea behind the name of the church is that church is not where we go or what we do, but WHO WE ARE.
