The Simple Truth

Preamble

Remember the old movie City Slickers? (Maybe you don't. I guess I'm showing my age.) It was a movie about three stressed out friends who decided to go to a dude ranch to reconnect with the simple things in life. In the movie there was a charecter named Curly. Curly was the consemant cowboy. Rugged, tough, and most of all simple. His famous quote was, "Life is about one thing..." Then he died before he could explain what that one thing was (Hope I didn't spoil it for you). Eventually the three found out what the one thing was for each of them individually, and it was a happy ending.

Well I've got news for you, life is complicated. Very few of us have the liberty of focusing on just one thing. However, serving God was never meant to be complex. This week we will discuss what God expects from us, and guess what. It's simple. Are you intrigued? Come this Sunday to the club house at Saddle Tree Ranch and I'll explain.
