Giving FAQs
Are there processing fees?
As with all online transactions, whether you see it or not, a fee is charged by the online company that processes any payment or donation. This fee helps cover the cost to make the online transaction safe and private!
What is the difference between making a donation with a credit/debit card or with a bank account?
For every credit/debit card transaction there is a 2.6% processing fee, however, for bank account transfers the fee is only 0.75%. These rates are some of the best available, as the average online transaction processing fee is between 3% and 6%.
Who pays the fee?
Seminole Baptist Church has chosen to cover the cost of the processing fees. 100% of your donation will be received by the church and the total amount will also be listed on your giving statement each year.
